Description:

This will be our 4th monthly Meetup!

Although members of our group meet throughout the month for various projects and events - we schedule one big Meetup on the last Monday of each month.

The purpose is to:

1. Spread Awareness
We hold these meetups in public venues and show up in large numbers so as to attract attention to the Ron Paul campaign and the active presence here in the Jacksonville area.

2. Socialize
Having everyone get together at one time for drinks and dinner helps build group cohesion and contributes to a more effective organization.

3. Updates
Because a lot of projects and events occur throughout the month, this Meetup allows the various Project Leaders and Committee Heads to report on the accomplishments and challenges of the past month.

4. Planning & Coordination
As the election draws closer, our group will have more and more to accomplish. This Meetup provides the opportunity to communicate to the membership upcoming needs and gives people the chance to volunteer to help.

We have been able to secure a separate room at The Sneakers Sports Bar on Baymeadows and 9A. The plan is to eat, drink and socialize starting at 6:30pm and then hold the business portion of the meeting from 7:00pm - 8:30pm.

Sneakers is willing to provide us audio/visual support as well - so we might be able to premier the Jacksonville Video Project if it is completed by then. Sneakers is providing our group this venue at no charge, so please give the restaurant your business and tip the wait staff generously.

So far we have nearly doubled the attendance at each monthly meetup. We need 80 people to attend this one in order to maintain the streak, so please recruit, recruit recruit!
